It’s time to thank those who have greatly impacted my life & gotten me through grad school thus far.
No, I’m not talking about influential individuals & life-changing moments. I’m talking about junk. It’s the little things that become an integral part of your day-to-day existence that really help you survive. (Seriously, we all know that friends & family are not necessary to your happiness, right? After all, all men are islands….)
So, this is to you, random bits of material wealth that have sustained me & at times ruined me. Thank you for being there, whether in the fridge, on the bookcase, or in my bag. Thanks for patiently awaiting my return no matter where or how I left you.
For all the moments that I was too lazy or forgetful to pack breakfast/lunch/dinner or all of the above…
